I would guess that there can only be two or three of us left who remember our old youth club leader in Ryton and who was Will Cocks FSA. We go back to  1941 or 1942.

Somewhat ironically, Malcolm Binns is playing saxophone with my better half as I write.

May I say what a great shame it would be to lose a place in 
the heritage of this country if the Bagpipe Museum was to be closed.

As a bloody minded old man, may I suggest that one of your number puts his or her name down to become Chief Executive or to stand at the next Council election.

Amazing how things can alter with a bit of a real threat to the powers that be.
